The HR Payroll Specialist’s primary objective is to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of employee compensation by managing payroll data, validating attendance and overtime records, applying company policies, and safeguarding the confidentiality of employee financial information.
Responsibilites:
Payroll Accuracy & Processing
– Ensure precise calculation of salaries, allowances, deductions, and overtime.
– Validate attendance and timesheet data before payroll submission.
– Guarantee timely payroll processing to avoid delays or disputes.
Compliance with Company Policies
– Apply statutory requirements (entitlements, benefits).
– Ensure payroll practices align with internal HR policies and government regulations.
– Maintain audit‑ready documentation for inspections or reviews.
Data Validation & Error Resolution
– Identify and correct discrepancies in attendance, overtime, or leave records.
– Follow up with HR Specialists and managers to resolve missing check‑in/out cases.
– Secure approvals for corrections before payroll finalization.
Confidentiality & Data Security
– Safeguard sensitive employee payroll and financial information.
– Implement secure handling of payroll files and system access.
Employee Support & Liaison
– Respond to employee inquiries regarding salary, deductions, or overtime.
– Provide clear explanations of payroll policies and procedures.
– Act as a bridge between employees, HR, and finance departments.
Reporting & Documentation
– Prepare payroll summaries, variance reports, and compliance reports.
– Maintain accurate records for audits, management reviews, and financial planning.
Continuous Improvement & Training
– Stay updated on payroll systems, HRIS tools, and regulatory changes.
– Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
– Support HR Specialists with training on payroll templates and reporting standards.
