QAQC Engineer

About the Role

AlQudra Aldaema for Engineering Consultations is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and quality control requirements across engineering and construction projects.

The successful candidate will ensure that project activities, materials, and deliverables comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, codes, and project requirements. The role involves inspection, testing, quality documentation, non-conformance management, and coordination with project stakeholders to maintain and continuously improve quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures across project activities.
• Prepare, review, and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, and Quality Control Procedures.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate required testing to verify compliance with approved requirements.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, materials, and approved project documents.
• Monitor material inspection, testing, and approval processes.
• Identify, investigate, and follow up on non-conformities and quality issues.
• Prepare and manage quality documentation, including NCRs, RFIs, MIRs, WIRs, checklists, inspection reports, and quality records.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, subcontractors, consultants, and clients on quality-related matters.
• Communicate quality requirements clearly to site personnel and project teams.
• Monitor compliance with applicable engineering standards, specifications, codes, regulations, and ISO 9001 requirements.
• Maintain accurate quality records and prepare quality reports as required.
• Support internal and external quality audits and follow up on audit findings.
• Identify opportunities for quality improvement and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Relevant experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control within engineering or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, procedures, and practices.
• Good understanding of engineering standards, specifications, codes, and regulations.
• Experience with inspections, testing, and quality documentation.
• Experience managing non-conformities and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality management requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or quality management software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing and implementing ITPs, Method Statements, and Quality Control Procedures.
• Strong knowledge of NCR, RFI, MIR, WIR, inspection checklists, and quality reporting.
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing CAPA.
• Knowledge of material inspection, testing, and approval processes.
• Ability to review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and approved documents.
• Strong report writing and technical documentation skills.
• Good understanding of construction processes and project quality requirements.
