Operations Officer

Company: ModernHR (Recruiting on behalf of a client in the Telecommunications Industry)

ModernHR is currently recruiting an Operations Officer for one of our clients in the telecommunications industry. We are looking for a hands-on warehouse professional who can oversee daily warehouse operations, supervise operational staff, and ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily loading and offloading activities for incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Coordinate the movement and storage of materials according to warehouse plans and procedures.
• Lead and supervise Operations Workers, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently.
• Enforce workplace health and safety standards and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
• Support inventory audits by assisting with stock counts and inventory verification.
• Verify purchase orders before unloading materials and ensure documentation is accurate.
• Ensure serialized inventory is properly recorded and tracked.
• Prepare and submit daily operational and shift reports.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
• Conduct daily team briefings and provide guidance on proper material handling techniques.
• Monitor team performance and report operational issues to the Operations Team Lead.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role.
• Previous experience supervising warehouse or operational staff is preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory handling, and workplace safety procedures.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Native Arabic and basic proficiency in English.
• Forklift license or warehouse safety certification is considered an advantage.
