Inventory Team Lead

ModernHR is currently recruiting an Inventory Team Lead for one of our clients in the telecommunications industry. We are seeking an experienced inventory professional to oversee inventory accuracy, ERP transactions, stock control, and warehouse inventory processes across multiple warehouse facilities. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in inventory management, ERP systems, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead inventory management activities across multiple warehouse locations, ensuring physical inventory accurately matches ERP records.
- Oversee all inventory transactions within the ERP system, including Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), Material Issue Notes (MINs), and stock movements.
- Plan and manage cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and annual physical inventory counts.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and investigate discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
- Identify and report slow-moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory while recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure all inventory documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
- Review and approve material requisitions and inventory transactions.
- Ensure goods are received into the ERP system only after proper inspection and verification.
- Monitor safety stock levels and maintain inventory classification based on business requirements.
- Assign daily tasks, review performance, and provide guidance and training to inventory team members.
- Prepare inventory reports and support internal and external audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, supply chain, or a similar role.
- Strong experience with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
- Strong understanding of inventory control principles, stock reconciliation, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Previous experience leading or supervising inventory teams.
- Native Arabic and professional proficiency in English.
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, Oracle Inventory Certification, or similar professional certifications are considered an advantage.
