Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly skilled School Social Worker to join our multi-disciplinary student services team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between the home, school, and community, providing direct and indirect services to help students overcome social, emotional, or behavioral barriers to learning. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive, collaborative approach to promoting holistic student well-being and fostering a safe, positive school climate.
Key Responsibilities

Student Support & Counseling: Provide short-term individual and group counseling to students facing personal, social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.

Intervention & Behavior Management: Partner with teachers and parents to develop and implement positive behavioral intervention plans and strategies to boost academic and social success.

Family & Community Liaison: Facilitate clear, empathetic communication with families to support student adjustment. Assist parents in navigating and accessing community resources, health services, or special needs programming.

Crisis Intervention: Lead risk assessments and provide immediate crisis intervention support, coordinating necessary follow-up care with home and community resources.

Case Management & Compliance: Maintain precise, highly confidential student case records and documentation in full compliance with school policies and legal standards.
Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, or a closely related counseling field.

Experience: Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational, youth-focused, or clinical setting is highly preferred.
