HSE Supervisor

Job Description

Health, safety, and environmental (HSE) Supervisors are responsible for implementing health and safety policies in an organization. These professionals have the duty of detecting dangerous conditions, reviewing safety procedures, disseminating safety information to various departments, training staff on safety topics, and running emergency exercises.

Tasks

• Advise the site personnel to ensure the application of Wazen HSE Policies in all operations.
• Participate in HSE Audits and safety at all locations.
• Assist in compiling lists of corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive records of personal activities.
• Perform job risk assessment (JRA) when required.
• Investigate report accidents and incidents as required by the Safety Manager.
• Present recommendations for corrective actions following accidents and inspections.
• Assist in the training of employees in the Safety Orientation.
• Report all unsafe acts and hazards wherever found.
• Liaise with third parties, subcontractors and clients to promote the HSE of Wazen.
• Review and Revise HSE Documentation.
• Ensure relevant HSE documentation is available on field sites.
• Prepare monthly, weekly, daily reports and submit to the HSE manager.
• Lead & manage emergency team in case of any emergency/incident occurred in the field.
• Report to site manager as site direct manager as well.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
• Certifications like NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent are a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in HSE roles, specifically in EPC projects.
• Familiar with risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Ability to train and motivate workers on safety practices
