About the Opportunity

We are seeking a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Architectural Engineer to join our engineering team in Benghazi, Libya.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing architectural designs, preparing technical drawings, coordinating with engineering disciplines, and supporting the successful delivery of projects in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

– Prepare architectural designs, layouts, and detailed drawings.
– Develop and modify architectural drawings based on project requirements.
– Prepare plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings.
– Review architectural drawings and ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
– Coordinate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
– Conduct site visits and coordinate with site teams when required.
– Assist in resolving architectural and technical issues during project execution.
– Review materials, finishes, and architectural details.
– Ensure designs comply with applicable standards, specifications, and project requirements.
– Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams.
– Prepare technical documentation and design submissions.
– Maintain accurate records of drawings and revisions.
– Support project teams throughout the design and construction phases.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
– Previous experience in architectural design or construction projects is preferred.
– Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methods.
– Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
– Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
– Good communication and coordination skills.

– AutoCAD – Required
– Revit – Preferred
– SketchUp – Preferred
– 3D visualization and rendering software – Advantage
– Microsoft Office Suite

– Good command of English is required.
– Arabic language proficiency is required.
