Technology Procurement Officer

Company: ModernHR (Recruiting on behalf of a client in the Telecommunications Industry)

ModernHR is seeking a Technology Procurement Officer for one of our clients in the telecommunications industry. This role is ideal for a procurement professional with experience sourcing technology products and services, managing supplier relationships, and working with ERP systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement of technology-related goods and services, including hardware, software, licenses, IT services, and telecommunications.
  • Create and manage Requests for Proposal (RFPs) using Oracle Fusion Sourcing and support the tendering process.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new technology suppliers and vendors.
  • Support contract negotiations, renewals, and ensure compliance with agreed contractual terms.
  • Track purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain supplier records and monitor supplier performance.
  • Ensure technology procurement activities comply with approved budgets and procurement policies.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports, including supplier performance and cost savings.
  • Ensure all procurement activities follow company policies and ERP workflow requirements.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technology procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; Oracle Fusion experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of RFx and tendering processes.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Native Arabic and professional proficiency in English.
