Telecom Project Manager

Job Description

Roaa Al-Majd for Telecommunications and Technology is seeking a qualified Telecom Project Manager to lead and manage our infrastructure and networking projects executed for major vendors such as Ericsson, Huawei, and ZTE. The role requires full oversight of all project phases—from planning and execution to final delivery—ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and the highest standards of quality and safety.

3 to 8 years of practical experience in managing telecommunications and technology projects (prior experience in Ericsson, Huawei, or ZTE projects is preferred).

Job Responsibilities

• Planning & Management: Prepare detailed project work plans, define timelines, and allocate human and logistical resources to ensure efficient workflow.

• Execution Monitoring: Directly supervise engineering and field teams, and track site progress against the project schedule.

• Communication & Relationship Management: Represent the company before clients and major vendors (Ericsson, Huawei, ZTE), and hold regular meetings to present progress reports.

• Budget & Risk Management: Control project costs, identify potential technical and operational risks, and develop proactive mitigation plans.

• Project Closure & Delivery: Secure formal Acceptance Certificates from clients in accordance with approved specifications.

Job Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Information Technology.

• Professional Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is considered a strong advantage.

• Technical & Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and a high sense of responsibility, with extensive knowledge of telecom network operations and major vendors’ requirements.

• Language & Technical Skills: Proficiency in English (spoken and written) for communicating with international partners, and mastery of project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.

• Mobility: Ability to travel and conduct field visits to various project sites as required.

Working Days

Sunday to Thursday (5 days a week).

Working Hours

08:30 AM – 04:30 PM (includes a 1-hour break).

Work Location

Company Headquarters (Tripoli) + Field visits to project sites as needed.
