The Software Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, configuring, and improving existing internal systems and applications.

The role focuses on resolving application – related issues, implementing minor enhancements, and ensuring stable and efficient operation of deployed software systems in accordance with approved lT procedures.

 About the Department

The IT Department is MERAAS digital backbone. From maintaining secure networks and reliable systems to enabling innovative tools and seamless communication, this team keeps the company connected, efficient, and future-ready. Technology here isn’t just support—it’s strategy.

 Qualification

• Educational Background:  University degree in Information Technology or Computer Science Engineering.
• Experience Level: No minimum experience in this field.

• Strong software development and programming skills
• Experience in web application development and API integration
• Odoo development, customization, and module development
• Python programming and database management
• Prompt Engineering and effective use of AI tools for software development
• AI-assisted development and workflow automation
• Ability to analyze business requirements and develop effective software solutions
• Troubleshooting, debugging, and system optimization
• Experience with ERP systems and business process automation
• Knowledge of Git, version control, and software development best practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

 Key Responsibilities

• Provide application-level support for existing systems
• Analyze and resolve software-related issues and incidents
• Perform system configuration and minor enhancements
• Support users in application usage and functionality
• Coordinate with Automation and Development teams when required
• Document issues, fixes, and system changes
• Escalate complex application issues when necessary
• Ensure system stability and operational continuity

 Language Requirement

English Proficiency: Advanced متقدم

Arabic Proficiency: Fluent طلاقة
