Elementary Social Worker

Location: Tripoli, Libya
Employment Type: Full-Time (Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM)

About the Role

AMLY School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Elementary Social Worker to support the academic, emotional, and social well-being of our elementary students. The successful candidate will work closely with students, families, and staff to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide social and emotional support to students facing academic or personal challenges.
• Teach English to students requiring additional academic support.
• Monitor and track students’ academic, social, and behavioral progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development.
• Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to develop student support plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (native or professional level).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in elementary social work or teaching.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for supporting children’s holistic development.
