About the Role

The QC Engineer is responsible for performing, recording, and reporting quality control activities on all site works and materials.

The role ensures that all construction works conform to project specifications, approved drawings, standards, and client requirements, and supports non-conformance management and continuous improvement.

About the Department

The Control Office is where precision meets oversight. This department monitors quality, improves systems, and ensures everything we build meets the highest standards. It’s the foundation of consistency across all engineering efforts.

Qualification

• Educational Background:  University degree in Engineering.
• Experience Level: Minimum 1-year relevant experience.

️ Key Skills & Competencies

• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) for inspection logs, NCRs, and reporting.
• Working knowledge of Odoo QA/QC Module or similar platform for digital NCR/CAR handling (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for the purpose of reviewing design drawings and preparing possible correction proposals.
• Proficiency with PDF tools for mark-ups and annotation of shop drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and discipline in documentation and record keeping.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment (English required).
• Assertive approach in enforcing quality standards and procedures on site.
• Analytical, practical, and solution-focused mindset in resolving site quality issues.
• High professional integrity and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and surveillance in accordance with approved ITPs, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Review and verify that materials, workmanship, and site practices comply with contract and project requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, logs, and photographic records.
• Issue, document, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and support Corrective Action Requests (CARs) until closure.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, laboratory technicians, and third-party inspectors during testing and inspections.
• Verify compliance of construction activities with method statements, material approvals, and shop drawings.
• Support QA Engineers and Head of QA/QC in internal and external audits, handover documentation, and preparation of Quality Assurance documents (Method Statements, ITPs, Material Approval Requests).
• Participate in lessons learned, root cause analyses, and site quality improvement meetings.
• Ensure all QC records are archived, traceable, and audit-ready in both digital and physical form.
• Maintain awareness of the latest quality standards, codes, and company procedures.

Language Requirement

English Proficiency: Upper – Intermediate المستوى المتوسط ​​- الأعلى

Arabic Proficiency: Fluent طلاقة
