About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our team in Benghazi, Libya.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

Key Responsibilities

– Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.
– Prepare journal entries, invoices, receipts, and payment documentation.
– Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
– Perform bank, cash, and account reconciliations.
– Assist in preparing monthly and periodic financial reports.
– Monitor expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals.
– Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents.
– Assist with payroll-related accounting activities when required.
– Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
– Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
– Coordinate with other departments regarding financial and accounting matters.
– Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues.
– Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Previous experience in accounting is preferred.
– Good understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
– Strong organizational and analytical skills.
