Junior HSE Officer(Occupational Health,Safety&Environment)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety policies.
• Work closely with site teams to maintain timely adherence to safety requirements.
• Support the OHS Supervisor/Manager in maintaining accurate HSE records, incident logs, and documentation.
•  Inspect safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure availability, proper condition, and adequate stock levels.
• Assist in preparing and issuing work permits (e.g., working at heights, hot work) and ensure workers understand permit conditions.
• Deliver regular safety briefings and toolbox talks under the supervision of the OHS Manager.
• Gather initial incident data, including photos and witness statements, to support investigations and root cause analysis.
• Assist in organizing safety induction sessions and training programs for employees.
•  Report and escalate safety violations or non-conformances to management promptly.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, or a related field.

Experience:

• 0–1 year of experience in an HSE-related role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and hazard recognition skills.
• Good command of English (written and spoken); Arabic is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with workers and management.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop in the field of occupational health and safety.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform regular site visits and work in remote or outdoor environments.
